When I was a girl, I took piano lessons. In fact, I went on to take piano lessons for the next 9 years! Given that information, one would assume me to be a very accomplished pianist– they’d be WRONG!! Why? For one, I wasn’t born with the natural talent to play the piano, and no matter how much I wanted to be a proficient piano player, my desire could not overcome my lack of natural ability. Therefore, my success on that particular instrument has always been very limited. However, I AM a good singer. So much so, that MANY years ago, […]

Clinton Stumbles from 911 Ceremony

There has been much speculation for several weeks over the state of Hillary Clinton’s health. I’m not one to put much stock in this type of supposition. However, with this latest episode, I’m beginning to wonder if Clinton DOES INDEED have a health condition which might possibly hinder her ability to carry out duties of the office if she’s elected to the presidency.  Reports are slowly leaking out that Clinton appeared at the 9/11 ceremony for about 90 minutes, then headed to her daughter’s apartment to recuperate from what her people are calling a case of her being “overheated”. Keep in […]

9/11 in Remembrance

9/11 in Remembrance God Bless America and God Bless those innocent and brave souls whose lives were cut short on that fateful September morning. I’ll never forget where I was when Americans and the world received news of that initial plane strike, which we’d later come to know as the first of several terror strikes on our beloved homeland. Those of us who watched in horror, fully understood the magnitude of honor and courage with which these brave men, women, and even children faced the treachery of the darkest day in our nation’s history. Let us forever hold them and […]

The newly released documentary Clinton Cash, based on the New York Times Best Selling book by Peter Schweizer, explains how the Clintons went from broke to being members of the 1% in no time flat. The documentary is about 1 hour in length, and well worth your time. When taken into context with the e-mail scandals, and so much more, you’ll see that Hillary Clinton’s greatest accomplishment has been getting absurdly wealthy by selling her (and her husband’s) influence. Trump GOP Reinvention Convention

As a creature of habit, I constantly war within myself to move beyond my comfort zone. Confession time–I LIKE feeling comfortable, and the older I get, the less I desire change. However, in order to grow as an individual, I make a concerted effort to shove my desire for comfort aside, and instead, plot a course toward the unknown, unfamiliar, and different. While some have viewed the GOP’s 2016 Cleveland convention as one hot mess, I view it as an opportunity for reinvention. The nature of reinvention ain’t always pretty folks, so it’s not surprising that so many in the […]

A few days ago, the Democratic National Convention Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, sent out a snide and catty tweet to Reince Preibus and others about the state of the RNC. However, this morning, just 3 days after the contents of leaked DNC e-mails from wikileaks came to light exposing the DNC’s corruption & favoritism of Clinton over Sanders, it was chairwoman Wasserman Schultz who could have used Priebus’ help to control the chaos in her own party as it took a nasty left turn!

RNC Highlights Days 1 & 2

The first 2 days of the 2016 Republican National Convention have been anything but boring. From the GOP nominee, Donald Trump, making an entrance worthy of the grand finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice“, complete with blue smoke and back lighting, to his son, Donald J Trump Jr. delivering a speech to make any seasoned politician envious—it’s been entertaining, inspiring, semi-rowdy, and unlike any convention, democratic or republican, that I’ve ever seen. I guess you could say it’s been a totally “unconventional” convention. Here are some of my favorite moments & speeches from the first two days of the RNC.

Constitutional Rights vs Propaganda

Mimicking petulant toddlers, on Wednesday, congressional democratic representatives staged a politically motivated sit in, complete with yelling and screaming when they did not get what they wanted on gun control! Watching the “show” unfold, I was struck by the fact that these same people wallowing on the floor in the nation’s capitol, were the same folks who swore on a bible to uphold, defend and protect the U.S. Constitution! Ironically, they were doing just the opposite—-a fact that was totally LOST on them. Even more, they used their antics as an opportunity to raise campaign funds!! You can’t make this stuff […]

Hi! I’m Kim, and welcome to my brainchild, Political Sausage!  After years of being frustrated over how “uninformed”, “misinformed”,  and “under-informed” American citizens and voters are about issues that greatly affect us all, I decided to create a website devoted to informing everyone not only about HOW our government was designed to work, how it CURRENTLY works, and WHAT we need to know to get it back on track as a government which SERVES its’ citizens, instead of the other way around!  In addition, I’ll be compiling handy facts & documents that every American citizen should be aware of in order […]
